​The  Root  Cellar

New Roots has partnered with King's College to offer a food pantry. The Root Cellar welcomes ALL in need in our community and is available to anyone. If you are in need, please call, email, or stop by New Roots for help. 
 
If you are interested in donating to the Root Cellar, we hope you would find the following suggestions helpful: 

• Any Non-perishable food and/or pantry staples are welcomed.
• Coffee Supplies (Filters, Sugar, Creamer, Styrofoam cups, etc).
• Bottled water

 
Please consider "Ready to Eat" meals such as:

• Macaroni and cheese
• Pop-top Pastas
• Granola bars
• Pop-top soup cans
• Tuna pouches
• Cereal
• Beef stew

We also recommend other useful necessities such as:

• Food Storage Containers
• Food Storage Bags (sandwich bags)
• Paper goods
• Toiletries

Any donations to the Root Cellar are fully tax-deductible and will help to support our community members in a fundamentally important way.
